Job summary

Envirogen Group UK Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the execution of multi-million-pound water treatment projects, from concept to on-site delivery in the UK. The role offers flexible hybrid or remote working arrangements for highly accomplished professionals.

You will lead end-to-end design, supervise the engineering team, govern project documentation, select high-performance equipment, and collaborate with procurement to drive competitive proposals across the UK and international

Qualifications

• Academic Foundation: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• Proven track record in engineering within industrial water, wastewater, or fluid processes.
• Highly organized, self-directed professional with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design lifecycle of multi-million-pound water treatment systems, from concept to execution.
• Mentor and develop core engineering team, promoting technical excellence and accountability.
• Govern and review critical project docs including P&IDs, fabrication drawings, electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Specify high-performance equipment, hydraulic calculations, pump design, valve and instrumentation specs to ensure contract compliance.
• Collaborate with procurement for data-driven vendor selections and RFQs to maintain project velocity.
• Coordinate with sales to prepare accurate cost, labour, and subcontractor estimates for proposals.
