Job summary

Envirogen Group in the UK is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the execution of multi-million-pound water and wastewater projects. You will lead end-to-end design from concept to field deployment and collaborate with the project team to deliver high‑performance, compliant systems.

The role emphasizes mentoring the core engineering team, reviewing P&IDs, electrical schematics and BOMs, and coordinating with suppliers to secure cost‑effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical or Civil engineering preferred.
• Proven history of engineering success in industrial water, wastewater, or fluid processes.
• Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of client-facing engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design lifecycle for multi-million-pound treatment systems from concept to execution.
• Mentor core engineering team and promote technical excellence and growth.
• Review and approve P&IDs, fabrication drawings, electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Select high-performance equipment and prepare cost, labor and subcontractor estimates for proposals.
• Coordinate with sales and vendors to maintain project velocity and commercial competitiveness.
• Drive cross-functional reviews with customers and suppliers to ensure quality outcomes.
