Job summary

Envirogen Group UK Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the execution of high-impact, capital engineering projects from concept to field deployment in the UK. You will collaborate with PMs to translate complex challenges into robust, high-performance water and wastewater systems.

You will mentor engineers, lead design governance, and drive equipment selection, costing, and vendor engagement to accelerate project velocity across multi-million-pound opportunities.

Qualifications

• Academic Foundation: A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil engineering.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in industrial water, wastewater, or fluid processes.
• Professional Attributes: Highly organized, self-directed, strong problem-solving and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design lifecycle of multi-million-pound treatment systems as technical anchor.
• Mentor and develop core engineering team, promoting technical excellence.
• Governance: review and approve P&IDs, drawings, electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Select high-performance equipment; perform hydraulic calcs and valve/instrument specs.
• Support sales with accurate cost, labour and subcontractor estimates.
• Drive vendor governance: RFQs, data sheets, procurement decisions and data-driven choices.
