Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Waste Water Process Engineer to join our multidisciplinary project design teams. You will deliver process design content on water engineering projects, including feasibility, optioneering, and detailed designs for procurement and construction across the UK and overseas.

You will lead process engineering deliverables, supervise junior staff, and collaborate with other disciplines to meet time, cost and quality targets while supporting proposals and client discussions.

Responsibilities

• Produce Process Design deliverables such as optioneering studies, process calculations, mass balance, P&IDs, basis of design reports.
• Undertaking outline or detailed process engineering design.
• Attending site visits for data acquisition and meeting site operators.
• Provide technical input to the procurement process.
• Support Project Managers in technical discussions with clients.
• Discussion and liaison with technology providers and vendors.
• HAZOP, HAZID, ENVID, SWIFT attendance.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and supervision of junior staff.
• Work with other disciplines to deliver multi-disciplinary projects on time, cost and quality.
• Provide input to proposals, scope, schedules and budgets.
• Liaison with the Client to meet their needs.
