Job summary

Choice Support in Nottingham is seeking a Service Manager to run five linked supported living services for people with mental health needs. You will lead teams to ensure safe, person-centred support that meets local authority contracts and safeguarding requirements.

The role focuses on monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement, working with Team Managers and Deputy Managers to keep services aligned and quality high.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience running supported living or community-based social care services.
• Knowledge of local authority contract requirements, safeguarding, and legal obligations.

Responsibilities

• Run five supported living services for people with mental health needs, ensuring safety and person-centred support.
• Ensure teams meet local authority contract requirements and safeguarding standards.
• Monitor locations to satisfy funder and Choice Support policies and audits.
• Provide updates to local authorities including contract monitoring and safeguarding reports.
• Prepare for monitoring visits, audits and reviews, and implement improvement plans.
• Lead and oversee Teams Managers to keep services organised and consistent.
• Collaborate with Deputy Managers to drive continuous improvement.
• Share information with Regional Operations Manager and other departments on outcomes.
