Inicio Group Ltd in Manchester (M16) is seeking a Service Manager to lead our supported accommodation homes. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for young people and high standards of care.

Leading a dedicated support team, you will supervise staff, develop personalised support and safety plans, work with external partners, and promote wellbeing to help young people progress to adulthood.

Qualifications

• Diploma Level 3/4 in Children, Young People, and Families practitioner required.
• Level 5 in Children, Young People and Families Manager or willingness to undertake this.
• Experience: minimum 2 years in children's social care, supported accommodation or similar setting.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, safeguarding, and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the homes, promoting a safe and caring environment for all young people.
• Lead and supervise the support team, deliver supervisions, probations, and appraisals with guidance and training.
• Develop and implement tailored support and safety plans for each young person.
• Conduct regular assessments and reviews in collaboration with professionals and families to create person-centred plans.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and promote belonging and empowerment for young people.
