Senior Manager, Marketing Finance (FP&A) – Sony

Role Overview: This London‑based role leads a global team and delivers accurate, timely financial planning and commercial analytics for the Global Marketing division, supporting Sony Interactive Entertainment's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and standardisation of Marketing KPI frameworks, including campaign ROI, CAC, LTV, media efficiency and conversion metrics.
  • Partner with Global Marketing and BI teams to translate campaign data into actionable insights and establish dashboards linking investment to impact across awareness, engagement and retention funnels.
  • Develop ROI models for paid media, content and partnership investments, linking performance metrics to financial results.
  • Conduct marketing effectiveness reviews, identify channel performance, and provide scenario modelling for budget optimisation.
  • Collaborate with Global Brand and Commercial teams to quantify cross‑channel impact and incremental revenue or retention from digital, retail, influencer and experiential activities.
  • Own marketing analytics governance, ensuring consistency in definitions, measurement methodologies and reporting standards across all global markets.
  • Integrate KPI and ROI outputs into long‑range planning and forecasting cycles to support strategic decision‑making and board‑level visibility.
  • Provide hands‑on management, direction and support to the Global Marketing FP&A team for annual budget, MRP, quarterly forecasts, monthly estimates and ad‑hoc financial assessments.
  • Drive continual improvement of dashboards and reporting suites, focusing on value‑added insights and financial analytics for senior leadership.
  • Maintain FP&A excellence through accurate forecasting, insightful variance analysis and clear financial storytelling that highlights performance drivers and improvement opportunities.
  • Business‑partner with Global Marketing FP&R and Strategy teams to understand key business updates and forecast impacts, supporting risk and opportunity assessments for divisional leadership and SIE group management.
  • Implement new processes to ensure financial rigor, controls and governance across marketing spend investments.
  • Align with other commercial finance functions to drive full accounting of investments and spend initiatives.
  • Assess global processes, recommend efficiencies, and lead automation initiatives to improve stakeholder engagement.
  • Direct line management of a global team composed of members in San Mateo, London and Tokyo.
  • Support ad‑hoc projects and assignments as required.
Qualifications

  • Flexibility in leadership and management styles, balancing hands‑on involvement with delegation.
