A leading home services provider in the UK is looking for a Senior Maintenance Surveyor to join their dynamic team. You will oversee a group of maintenance surveyors, ensuring quality repairs and excellent service standards. The role supports hybrids working, allowing you to balance office and remote work effectively. Ideal candidates will have a Building Surveying degree or equivalent and a strong background in housing legislation. This position offers a competitive salary of £60,000 to £65,000 along with generous benefits.

You’ll lead a group of skilled surveyors, bringing your technical expertise to help raise the bar on quality and repairs. Your decisions will shape homes and lives, not just bricks and budgets. Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Surveyors, to deliver the right output, content and quality services
Support customers by solving challenges and improving property standards
Manage performance, and provide strategic direction for the surveying team
Lead by example across inspections, preparation of specifications, and ensuring repairs standards are met
Be the technical expert and lead on complex repairs, damp and mould, disrepair, adaptations and HHSRS
Keep track of budgets and influence how we deliver great value.

RICS, CIOB accredited Building Surveying degree or equivalent qualification and/or strong experience built up through your working profession
A PCA QT level qualification or a willingness to complete this qualification
Great knowledge of housing legislation, HHSRS and building compliance
Confidence with damp and mould advice and managing complex repairs
A self-starter mindset with care and attention to detail
A collaborative way of working and clear, calm communication skills.
You’ll work Monday to Friday
You’ll manage your own diary, so if you want to take a longer lunch, you can use your flexi time to manage that!
To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
You need a Basic DBS check done and we pay for that.
