Job summary

Wards of Kent in Herne Bay is seeking a Senior Lettings Manager to lead the lettings department, drive branch performance, and maintain high standards across valuations, marketing, referencing, moves and renewals.

You will coach the lettings team, set targets, monitor KPIs, nurture landlord and tenant relationships, ensure compliance, and represent the brand in a busy Kent market.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Lettings and Estate Agents, including managing a residential lettings branch.
• Proficiency in Landlord/Tenant Matters and Property Management, with understanding of relevant legislation and best practice.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, handle queries, and manage expectations for landlords and tenants.
• Proven experience in leading a team, setting targets, and supporting performance in a fast-paced sales or property environment.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with confidence in face-to-face and telephone interactions.
• Good organisational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and compliance.
• Comfort with property and office technology, including CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
