A leading wealth management company in London is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support asset management businesses. This role involves drafting FCA applications, preparing fund documentation, and advising on regulatory matters. The ideal candidate is a qualified solicitor with at least 4 years of experience, strong knowledge of UK fund regulations, and the ability to manage stakeholder communications. Qualifications

  • Qualified solicitor with ideally 4+ years of experience, preferably in funds and asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and FCA rules; ESG/SDR knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to influence and manage stakeholders while working autonomously and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review FCA applications for fund changes.
  • Prepare and review fund documentation, including prospectuses and KIIDs.
  • Draft and negotiate investment management and distribution agreements.
  • Provide legal support for regulatory and strategic business change projects.
  • Advise on commercial and regulatory matters.
