Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking a Senior IT Technician to support a diverse client base within a modern MSP environment in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on delivering high-quality helpdesk support, troubleshooting, and proactive system monitoring.

You will manage Windows and Apple devices, participate in deployments, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve incidents efficiently while maintaining comprehensive documentation and strict security practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of industry experience.
• Practical experience with Cyber Essentials controls and GDPR.
• Experience supporting Windows and Apple devices.
• Strong networking background and Windows Server security/policy administration.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer support as the first point of technical contact.
• Resolve hardware, software and network-related incidents.
• Attend client premises for troubleshooting, upgrades and maintenance.
• Process and manage support tickets within agreed service levels.
• Keep stakeholders informed of progress and resolutions.
• Escalate urgent matters when necessary.
• Monitor customer systems and infrastructure health.
• Maintain technical records and documentation.
• Assist with planned projects and deployments.
• Respond to high-priority support requests.
