Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking a Senior IT Technician to support a diverse client base within a fast-moving MSP environment. The role focuses on delivering top-tier technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and maintaining systems across client premises.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of industry experience, strong networking skills, and hands-on experience with Windows and Apple devices, plus governance controls such as Cyber Essentials and GDPR compliance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant industry experience.
• Practical experience with Cyber Essentials controls and GDPR standards.
• Strong networking background.
• Windows Server security and policy administration.
• Experience supporting both Windows and Apple devices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer support as the first point of technical contact.
• Resolve hardware, software and network-related incidents.
• Attend client premises for troubleshooting, upgrades and maintenance.
• Process and manage support tickets within agreed service levels.
• Keep stakeholders informed of progress and resolutions.
• Escalate urgent matters when necessary.
• Monitor customer systems and infrastructure health.
• Maintain technical records and documentation.
• Assist with planned projects and deployments.
• Respond to high-priority support requests.
