A prominent healthcare organization in Milton Keynes seeks a dedicated Desktop Support specialist to deliver comprehensive technical support. You will troubleshoot various IT issues, manage IT assets, and ensure timely incident resolutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong IT literacy in Microsoft products and familiarity with ITIL processes. To provide advanced quality technical support and problem-solving techniques, responsive and comprehensive Desktop Support service, incorporating support for all Trust staff as well as support and mentoring of IT support staff. All support activities are to be provided during the core operational hours of 08:00-17:00.
The post holder will be required to provide support by visiting the user where necessary in order to provide timely resolution to logged incidents ensuring SLAs are met and typically exceeded.
Other responsibilities will include the management of the Trusts' IT assets, IT Security, Network administration, managing complex projects and ensuring the smooth operation of technical systems and processes.
