Job summary

Velindre University NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Digital Specialist to join the Digital Services Infrastructure team. This full-time on-site role will support Velindre Cancer Centre in Whitchurch, Cardiff and the Welsh Blood Service at Talbot Green, based at both sites.

You will manage service desk tickets, provide timely updates and resolutions, and prioritise workload to keep 1,800 staff and 2,500 devices serviced in a fast-paced environment. Welsh language ability is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a UK IT setting, ideally healthcare.
• The role requires handling support requests for Windows and Office 365.
• Strong customer service and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tickets escalated from the Digital Service Desk.
• Update tickets with progress and resolutions.
• Prioritise tickets to meet deadlines.
• Build and fix IT devices and peripherals as needed.
• Collaborate with Digital Services support staff.
