Job summary

Miller Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior IT Engineer in the UK to deliver high-quality technical support and manage core IT infrastructure. You will work with clients to resolve issues, maintain systems and ensure service excellence while occasionally travelling and covering out-of-hours when required.

You will oversee backups, DR, remote monitoring, security, and internal tools such as Dynamics CRM and IT Glue, while documenting work and collaborating with clients for optimal IT outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' IT Support or MSP experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and server OS.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange and Active Directory.
• Networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, routing, switches and firewalls.
• Experience with Hyper-V or VMware virtualization.
• Familiarity with remote support and RMM tools.
• Experience using ticketing systems and documenting work.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Hold a Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop, server and infrastructure support to business clients.
• Manage and monitor backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Maintain and develop remote monitoring and management platforms.
• Support security solutions including firewalls and email security.
• Administer Dynamics CRM and IT Glue.
• Manage tickets, calls and emails, ensuring timely resolution.
• Diagnose hardware, software and networking issues.
• Prepare, configure and deploy PCs and laptops.
• Carry out repairs and hardware upgrades.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support.
