Job summary

Aspire Communications in London is seeking two experienced 3rd Line Support – IP Network Engineers to join our growing MSP. You will handle senior escalations across SD-WAN, LAN, WAN, firewalls, and wireless for enterprise environments, partnering with customers and vendors in a hybrid London-based role.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in NOC/ISP/MSP settings and hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Meraki in multi-vendor networks. Hybrid work and competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in NOC/Service Desk or ISP/MSP/SME.
• Strong hands-on networking in routing, switching, and wireless.
• Experience with SD-WAN, managed firewalls, multi-vendor environments.
• Proficient with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Meraki devices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and incident escalation skills.
• Must be UK-based and able to commute to London regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert 3rd line technical support for complex IP network incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, and SD-WAN issues across multi-vendor estates.
• Administer and configure managed firewalls, LAN/WAN topologies, and secure perimeter solutions.
• Support planned upgrades, firmware updates, and expansion deployments.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal NOC teams for rapid resolution.
• Participate in out-of-hours maintenance and on-call support rotas.
• Maintain documentation of network topologies, root-cause analyses, and change logs.
• Ensure SLA adherence and ITIL-based operational standards.
