Job summary

Aspirecom is seeking an experienced 3rd Line IP Network Engineer for a permanent hybrid position in London. You will own advanced MPLS network support, SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, and firewall/wireless systems, providing senior escalation and incident resolution in a growing MSP environment.

Requirements include 5+ years in a Service Desk or NOC, UK residency, and multi-vendor expertise (Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet/Meraki). Salary £55k–£60k with a 20% bonus and £2,500 training budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Service Desk or NOC in ISP/MSP/enterprise
• UK residency and ability to commute to London
• Strong IP routing, switching and core MPLS experience
• SD-WAN and enterprise firewall expertise across multi-vendor platforms
• Hands-on with Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet/Meraki environments

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line technical support and senior escalation management
• Troubleshoot SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, firewalls, wireless across multi-vendor networks
• Maintain and support core customer/MPLS network infrastructure
• Execute upgrades and configuration changes across client estates
• Collaborate with customers, carriers, and service desk engineers
• Participate in out-of-hours maintenance and on-call rotations
• Document topology changes and incident investigations
• Adhere to ITIL, security, and change management protocols
