Detailed Job Description

As a 3rd Line IP Network Engineer supporting Aspirecom on a hybrid basis in London, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of advanced IP network maintenance, complex technical troubleshooting, and customer-facing incident escalation. Your day-to-day responsibilities include acting as a senior technical escalation point for SD-WAN, LAN, WAN, managed firewall, and wireless issues across complex multi-vendor environments utilizing Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, and Meraki hardware, maintaining and supporting core customer and MPLS network infrastructure, executing upgrades and configuration changes across the enterprise estate, collaborating closely with customers and third-party vendors, participating in out-of-hours maintenance work when required, and interacting directly with specialist IT recruiters like Dan Robinson. Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional hands-on experience within a Service Desk or Network Operations Center (NOC) in an ISP, MSP, or enterprise SME environment.
• Strong, demonstrable operational expertise in IP routing, switching, core MPLS networking, and wireless communications technologies.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in SD-WAN deployments, enterprise firewalls, and multi-vendor network management.
• Deep practical hands-on experience configuring and supporting networking platforms from major vendors including Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, and Meraki.
