Job summary

Pearson Carter is seeking a Senior IoT Sales Engineer for a utilities-focused technology client. You will bridge between technology solutions and customers, driving adoption, building strategic partnerships, and growing market presence in water, energy, and critical infrastructure sectors.

You will lead solution selling, advisory, and stakeholder engagement, manage key accounts, and coordinate with product, delivery, and channel partners to shape practical IoT solutions and win new business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience selling technology solutions into utilities, government, energy, water, or critical infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of IT principles, network technologies, and operational environments.
• Experience with IoT, digital solutions, or related industrial technologies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close new business opportunities within target markets, particularly water, energy, and critical infrastructure.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify account growth opportunities.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and shape practical technology solutions.
• Lead proposals, tenders, and commercial discussions with support from internal teams.
• Partner with customers throughout solution design and implementation to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with product teams to represent customer needs and influence future solutions.
• Support channel partners in progressing opportunities and achieving sales outcomes.
