Geotab is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to identify customer needs, tailor solutions on our open platform, and support partners in overcoming business challenges. You will work across sales, customer care, product management, and other teams to drive success, develop tools and educational content, and feed product with partner feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Solutions/Sales Engineering.
• Ability to travel (internationally) up to 30% of the time.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Experience in technical fields such as software engineering, data analysis or systems integration with a customer-facing focus.
• Expert-level knowledge of telematics, IoT, APIs and related technologies.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java or C#, and API integrations.
• Ability to work with Agile Work Management, Ticketing and CRM tools like JIRA and Salesforce.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI or Superset.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer-focused mindset and delivery of exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem as SME for end-users and partners.
• Collaborate with strategic partners and end-users to optimize utilization of Geotab technology.
• Provide technical resources to sales teams to identify and deliver solutions for customer challenges.
• Translate technical capabilities into business value to accelerate deal closures.
• Ensure partner and end-user satisfaction through prompt service and insights.
• Support partner upskilling to extend customer support across channels.
• Assess complex business challenges and propose viable alternatives.
• Contribute feedback to Product based on partner/end-user input.
• Maintain documentation of engagements, designs, and deliverables.
• Manage high-impact projects with partners, integrators, and customers.
• Create processes, handle escalations, and drive change.
• Mentor Solutions Engineers and promote skill development.
