Job summary

Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) is seeking an experienced investment lead to oversee our pooling partner LPPI and deliver our sustainability‑led Investment Strategy. The role will line‑manage one Investment Analyst and report to the Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.

Based in Bristol with flexible/ hybrid working, the team focuses on responsible investment, climate and biodiversity impacts, and monitoring investments across public and private markets; travel to Bristol,

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing.
• Knowledge of climate science and natural capital in relation to investing.
• Familiarity with LGPS and pooling arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LPPI work and ensure delivery of the Investment Strategy.
• Identify and discuss green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor investments across public and private markets.
• Advise on climate and biodiversity impacts of investments.
