Job summary

The Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) is seeking an Investment Analyst to help keep the Fund at the forefront of responsible investment and sustainability-led strategy execution. The role involves overseeing LPPI work, monitoring investments across asset classes and engaging with diverse stakeholders.

You will work within the Pensions Team, based in Bristol with flexible working arrangements and travel to Bristol, London and potentially overseas.

Qualifications

• Experience investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible and impact investing.
• Knowledge of climate science and natural capital in investing.
• Familiarity with LGPS and pooling.

Responsibilities

• Input to the Fund's strategic direction of its investment approach.
• Identify and discuss green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor and oversee investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide assurance on LPPI work through partnerships and collaboration.
• Report progress to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Respond to member, media and public enquiries on the investment approach.
• Network across the finance community and represent the Fund in meetings.
