Job summary

National Highways is strengthening its Digital Services function and seeks a Lead Identity Manager to direct Identity and Access Management, governance, and privileged access across the organisation. The role emphasizes leadership, policy development, and risk reduction.

The position is hybrid with two days per week in the office and requires SC clearance and five years UK residency for vetting. The team will focus on secure, compliant access to critical systems and data across the UK network.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Identity and Access Management functions.
• Strong governance and risk management capabilities.
• Proven ability to develop policies, standards and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM across operational and business environments.
• Oversee Identity Governance, Privilege Access Management, Vetting and JML.
• Ensure policy compliance and continuous security improvements.
• Provide regular reporting on identity threats, risks and controls.
• Lead delivery and transition of identity systems into governance.
