Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Lead Identity Manager to steer Identity and Access Management across Cyber Security, Digital Operational Services and Digital Corporate. You will lead governance, privilege access, vetting services and JML accounts to ensure access is appropriately controlled.

The role is hybrid with two days per week in the office and may require UK-wide travel. SC clearance and five years of UK residency are expected considerations for vetting, with potential flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading security or technology functions providing services and support.
• Proven ability to develop and deploy security or technology services.
• Experience in building and leading teams in a technology environment.
• Track record of developing security policies, strategies and processes.
• Experience managing operational support for identity or access management tools (e.g., IAM platforms, ticketing systems).

Responsibilities

• Lead Identity Governance and Assurance, Privilege Access Management, Vetting Services and JML accounts.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for identity lifecycle management and authentication services.
• Enforce security policies and processes to ensure appropriate access controls and reduce risk.
• Oversee Identity Systems SOPs, processes and knowledge articles; maintain compliance with policy.
• Report identity threats, risks and controls to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate delivery and transition of systems into Identity Assurance Governance and PAM monitoring.
