Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Lead Identity Manager to steer Identity and Access Management, lifecycle governance, and privileged access across the organisation. The role includes leading the Identity Governance and Assurance, Vetting Services, and JML accounts, ensuring access remains appropriate and secure.

The position is hybrid, with two days per week in the office and travel to national offices as needed. UK residency and potential SC clearance are considerations in the vetting process.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security or technology functions.
• Proven deployment of security or technology services.
• Experience building and leading teams in a technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Identity and Access Management across operational and business environments.
• Oversee identity lifecycle management, access governance and privileged access.
• Implement and monitor Identity Assurance governance and related controls.
• Develop, maintain and improve SOPs, identity processes and knowledge articles.
• Provide regular reporting of identity threats, risks and controls.
