Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Lead Identity Manager to steer identity lifecycle management, access governance and privileged access across critical digital and operational environments.

You will lead Identity Governance and Assurance, Vetting Services, JML processes, and ensure policies keep systems secure while enabling business needs. This hybrid role requires SC clearance readiness and UK residency, with two days in the office weekly and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Identity and Access Management functions.
• Strong governance and policy development experience.
• Proven leadership of security or technology teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead Identity and Access Management functions and lifecycle management.
• Oversee Identity Governance, Privilege Access Management and Vetting Services.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards and procedures.
• Deliver operational Identity Services with quality and value.
• Provide regular reporting on Identity threats, risks and controls.
