Job summary

National Highways is strengthening its Digital Services function with a Lead Identity Manager role. You will lead IAM, access governance, and privileged access across environments, shaping policies and security operations.

The role is hybrid with two office days per week and requires SC clearance (UK residency typically 5 years). You will drive identity assurance, reporting, and lifecycle management to safeguard assets across the UK network.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security or technology services.
• Proven ability to develop and deploy security services.
• Experience building and leading technology teams.
• Experience developing policies, strategies and processes.
• Experience managing teams with operational support tools such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Lead Identity and Access Management functions including lifecycle management and access governance.
• Oversee Privileged Access Management, Vetting Services and JML accounts.
• Enforce security policies and improve governance, risk and compliance.
• Deliver operational Identity Services and ensure value to users and stakeholders.
• Provide regular reporting of threats, risks and controls to stakeholders.
