Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and consultancy/utility energy experience.
• Experience as FEED designer or owner's engineer on HV projects.
• Knowledge of AIS/GIS HV plant and ability to manage multi-discipline projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce primary plant layouts for HV substations.
• Lead engineering design input to major infrastructure projects.
• Undertake Project Development/Pre-construction activities and optimize cable routes.
• Develop specifications for HV Plant and related equipment.
• Develop tender specifications and undertake evaluations.
• Provide design assurance of tender docs during evaluation and supplier meetings.
• Review supplier designs during construction; perform QA audits, FAT and commissioning support.
• Be a trusted partner to key clients.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
