Job summary

EDF Power Solutions in the UK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Technical Services and delivery engineering team. You will work with HV/LV plant and apparatus, transformers, switchgear, cables, and protection relays, leading and mentoring a small team of engineers.

We operate across onshore/offshore renewables and traditional power projects, with opportunities to travel across the UK to support delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in design and operation of electrical systems with HV plant.
• Knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and protection relays.
• Leadership ability to manage a small team.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering upgrades from concept to delivery.
• Review maintenance reports to identify defects and trends.
• Prepare and present engineering reports and updates.
• Travel across the UK to support projects.
