Advance Vauxhall in Slough, England, United Kingdom, is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our team. We are a Vauxhall dealership based in Slough.

Role Description

This role involves providing generalist HR advice and support to management and staff across our 6 branches, with a focus on Employee Relations and HR administration. The position offers diverse tasks, including training and development, coaching, and daily operations support.

We are looking for an energetic individual passionate about People. The ideal candidate will have solid ER knowledge, assist with various cases, and contribute to multiple HR functions. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure in a HR Generalist role with strong support from colleagues.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and probation hearings.
2. Lead or attend employee relations meetings.
3. Advise managers and employees on HR issues to prevent escalation.
4. Handle escalations involving legal issues or complex customer complaints, liaising with relevant bodies as needed.
5. Manage the rota system and assist with payroll updates.
6. Support insurance procedures, including claims and investigations.
7. Maintain health & safety records and liaise with third-party agencies.
8. Organise and coordinate facilities and maintenance activities.
