Job summary

Sirius Search Limited is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HR Generalist) to join their East Kent-based HR team in a hybrid capacity. The role covers employee relations, payroll, HR systems, learning and development, succession planning, recruitment, re-organisation and compliance on UK sites.

You will lead HR processes, support recruitment, work with stakeholders to resolve issues, manage disciplinary and grievance matters, and contribute to implementing a new HR system while ensuring

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a broad HR role.
• Generalist experience across employee relations, HR systems, payroll, L&D, and compliance.
• Experience of supporting change, including an HR system implementation or transition.
• Ability to train and advise managers at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance.
• Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUPs and PivotTables).

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing HR processes for the site, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures
• Supporting and delivering recruitment and staffing processes
• Working with business partners and stakeholders to find solutions, resolve issues and manage conflict in a creative and proactive way
• Representing management in the investigation and resolution of disciplinary and grievance matters
• Managing HR administration, including payroll, HR systems and databases, employee records, HR communications and policy management, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
• Taking ownership of performance management processes and advising on the application of employee relations policies
• Developing and delivering training to managers and other stakeholders
• Promoting participation in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives and supporting a culture of continuous improvement
• Contributing to the implementation of a new HR system and the evolution of existing processes
