Job summary

Foot Anstey is seeking an experienced HR Advisor/Senior Advisor to contribute to a progressive, high-performing HR function in a growing national law firm. The role sits in the Human Resources team in Plymouth with a full-time pattern and opportunities to lead HR initiatives.

You will support the delivery of the HR strategy, manage employee relations, and drive process improvements while partnering with leaders to enhance people engagement and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Proven HR/People Advisor experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
• CIPD Level 5 or degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HR management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality HR service and professional advice to employees.
• Manage employee relations including complex conflict resolution and disciplinary/grievance procedures.
• Advise and coach managers on people-related issues and performance matters.
• Own processes such as parental leave, probation, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with People and Reward Manager and HR Business Partners for alignment.
