Job summary

Talent Included Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior People Advisor to partner with managers, navigate complex employee relations matters and help shape a positive workplace culture. You’ll join a collaborative People team with influence across a diverse, multi-site workforce.

Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll provide expert HR advice across the full lifecycle and ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor experience.
• Strong employee relations experience.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience supporting managers within a fast-paced operational environment.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Experience using HR systems.
• CIPD Level 3 (minimum), with Level 5 desirable.
• A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice across the full employee lifecycle and supporting managers.
• Manage disciplinary, grievance, investigation and performance management processes.
• Support absence management and employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Review and update HR policies and procedures.
• Advise on contractual changes and employment legislation.
• Support payroll-related queries and HR administration.
• Maintain HR systems and people data.
• Drive continuous improvement across People processes.
• Contribute to wider HR projects and organisational initiatives.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll provide expert HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring managers are equipped to lead their teams effectively while maintaining compliance with employment legislation and best practice.

You’ll be involved in:

• Providing practical HR advice to managers across a range of employee relations matters.
• Managing disciplinary, grievance, investigation and performance management processes.
• Supporting absence management and employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures.
• Advising on contractual changes and employment legislation.
• Supporting payroll-related queries and HR administration.
• Maintaining HR systems and people data.
• Driving continuous improvement across People processes.
• Contributing to wider HR projects and organisational initiatives.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is confident, credible and commercially aware, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor position.
• Strong employee relations experience.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience supporting managers within a fast-paced operational environment.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Experience using HR systems.
• CIPD Level 3 (minimum), with Level 5 desirable.
