Job summary

The HR Advisor role sits in the HR team at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust, acting as the first point of contact for employment matters across its service areas. • Degree with an HR focus or CIPD Level 5, or currently working towards CIPD Level 5
• Evidence of CPD in an HR field
• Experience in HR/employee relations setting
• Generalist HR experience advising managers on HR issues

Responsibilities

• Act as point of contact for Trust service areas, providing a range of employment advice and services
• Advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, bullying and harassment, and performance matters
• Attend associated hearings and help prepare the related paperwork
• Support HR Partners and Associate HR Partners with organisational change processes
• Develop and deliver in-house HR training with Learning and Development
• Take part in job matching and evaluation, advising on Agenda for Change grading and banding
• Manage the at-risk process, identifying suitable alternative employment and keeping the redeployment register
• Build working relationships with colleagues, staff side representatives and managers at all levels
• Monitor the fixed-term contracts process in line with Trust policy
• Support the implementation, development and review of Trust HR policies and procedures
