Job summary

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the HR team. The role provides comprehensive employment advice and support to the Trust's service areas, ensuring high quality and cost-effective service delivery.

You'll advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, bullying and harassment, and performance management, and participate in related hearings and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice and support to managers on disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, bullying and harassment and performance management including attendance at hearings and preparation of related paperwork
• Support the Associate HR Partners and HR Partners in line with organisational change management processes
• Develop and deliver in-house training relating to the people agenda and liaise with Learning and Development
• Participate in job matching/evaluation process including advising on grading/banding issues associated with Agenda for Change
• Responsible for the 'at risk' process including identification of potential suitable alternative employment and maintenance of the redeployment register
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, staff side representatives and managers at all levels to support operational plans and objectives
• Monitor the fixed term contracts process within the Trust in line with Trust Policy and Procedure
• Support the implementation, development and review of Trust HR Policies and Procedures in line with changing employment practice and procedures
