Job summary

Affinity Home care in Shrewsbury is seeking a Registered Service Manager to lead our Home Care service. You will ensure delivery of person-centred care, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the development of a capable care team.

Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, driving quality assurance, staff supervision, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. A full UK driving licence is required and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in Care and Management.
• Minimum 2 years' management or supervisory experience within a Care at Home setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience in quality assurance, staff supervision, and person-centred care.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the service.
• Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission, and statutory requirements.
• Lead, support, and develop care and office staff.
• Monitor service quality through audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Support business growth and service development opportunities.
