Job summary

Affinity Home Care in Shrewsbury is seeking an experienced Registered Service Manager to lead our home care service. You will ensure high-quality, person-centred care, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the development of a dedicated care team.

The role requires NVQ Level 5 in Care and Management, at least 2 years of management in a Care at Home setting, strong leadership and communication, a full UK driving licence, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 5 in Care and Management is required.
Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience within a Care at Home setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience in quality assurance, staff supervision, and person-centred care.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day management of the service.
Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission, and statutory requirements.
Lead, support, and develop care and office staff.
Monitor service quality through audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build positive relationships with service users, families, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
Support business growth and service development opportunities.
