Unify is seeking a Senior Hire Desk Controller in Weston Super Mare to coordinate all hire activities and act as the central contact for clients and key accounts. The role suits someone with team leadership experience, offering training, progression and long-term opportunities.

You will manage desk operations, prioritise bookings, and liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth hire processes. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple mailboxes and bookings.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is desirable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Prior administration experience in a busy desk environment.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and adjust schedules as required.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple desks in the manager's absence and ensure timely processing of hire orders.
• Serve as first contact for customer bookings and inquiries via phone and email.
• Collaborate with Transport, Workshop, Sales and customers.
• Manage multiple mailboxes and multitask effectively.
• Process admin inquiries and maintain accurate hire records.
• Check equipment availability and keep details up to date.
• Track ongoing hire agreements and maintain documentation.
