Job summary

Kier Group's Kier Design is seeking a Senior Highways Design Engineer to join the National Highways Scheme Delivery Framework team in Salford. This role sits within the highways design team, with 40 hours weekly and some flexibility on hours.

We cannot offer sponsorship for this position. You will be responsible for delivering highways designs, drawings, reports and supporting documentation, developing junior colleagues, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Member of a professional body with IEng/CEng status or working towards it.
• CSCS Card holder is required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Ability to collaborate with teams and build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare highways designs, drawings, reports and supporting documentation.
• Produce design drawings and technical documentation meeting client specs.
• Conduct site investigations and data analysis (maps, reports, tests, drawings).
• Mentor junior colleagues and maintain strong client relationships.
