Job summary

SalesCaptain is seeking a Senior GTM Engineer to own and evolve outbound revenue infrastructure across client accounts. You’ll work at the intersection of data, automation, AI, deliverability, and signals, setting technical standards and mentoring teammates.

In this remote, EU-hours role, you will architect end-to-end outbound systems, optimize Clay-based workflows, and lead initiatives to improve targeting, performance, and campaign architecture while continuously exploring new GTM technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, RevOps, outbound operations, growth engineering, or a closely related role.
• Hands-on experience building outbound systems in a B2B SaaS, GTM agency, consultancy, or fast-moving tech environment.
• Advanced experience with Clay, including complex enrichment workflows, Claygent, AI columns, waterfalls, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of email deliverability, sending infrastructure, domain reputation, authentication, and inbox health.
• Experience designing campaigns around intent data and buying signals, not just static lists.
• Familiarity with modern GTM tooling and emerging AI/automation tools.
• Comfort with APIs, webhooks, JSON, automation platforms, and basic programming.
• Strong commercial mindset—ICPs, messaging, outbound performance, and pipeline impact.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end outbound systems from ICP/TAM through enrichment, sequencing, CRM sync, and reporting.
• Build and optimize Clay workflows, enrichment waterfalls, AI columns, and API integrations.
• Own email deliverability infrastructure, domains, reputation, and sending infrastructure best practices.
• Design intent- and signal-based outbound systems using various buying signals.
• Develop automation workflows with n8n, Make, Zapier, APIs, and webhooks.
• Leverage AI/LLMs to enhance prospect research, qualification, personalization, and campaigns.
• Explore and test new AI/GTM tools to gain client and SalesCaptain advantages.
• Write lightweight Python or JavaScript and integrate with APIs where needed.
• Mentor junior/mid GTM Engineers and review workflows for quality and scalability.
• Identify inefficiencies and design scalable solutions.
