Job summary

Stantec is seeking a motivated Graduate Geotechnical or Geoenvironmental Engineer to join our ground assessment team in the UK. You will help deliver desk studies, ground investigations, and interpretative reports across infrastructure and water projects.

The role supports progression toward professional chartership and involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams from early design through to construction, with exposure to a varied project mix and the opportunity to develop technical

Responsibilities

• Analyse geotechnical and geoenvironmental properties of the ground and help deliver client reports (desk studies, ground investigation specifications and reports).
• Assess geotechnical laboratory data, prepare ground models and support design calculations.
• Contribute to geotechnical inputs such as foundations, retaining walls, soil/rock stability and earthworks.
• Review historical maps/environmental information to identify contamination sources and assess environmental risks.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams to develop technical capability through varied project work.
