Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Software Technical Lead who remains hands-on while guiding teams on a live Central Government project. You will lead a collaborative Agile team, designing and delivering bespoke software to solve complex operational challenges.

The role focuses on full-stack development with Java, JavaScript, React and TypeScript, deploying cloud-based solutions and providing technical direction to clients. Hybrid working and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Java development experience.
• Experience designing and building solutions in AWS.
• Full-stack development using JavaScript, React and TypeScript.
• Proven track record leading engineers or providing technical direction.
• Understanding of software architecture and technical design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of software engineers.
• Design, develop and test bespoke software solutions.
• Provide technical direction and clear communication with clients.
• Produce solution architectures and technical designs.
• Build full-stack applications using Java, JavaScript, React and TypeScript.
• Design and deploy cloud-based solutions, using AWS, and CI pipelines with GitLab.
• Work across the full SDLC from requirements to delivery and maintenance.
• Deploy software into public and private cloud environments.
• Promote high standards of software quality, security and engineering practice.
