Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer or Technical Lead to guide teams on a Central Government project. You’ll shape technical directions, design architectures and deliver full-stack solutions using Java, JavaScript, React and TypeScript in AWS, with CI pipelines via GitLab.

You’ll drive quality and security, engage with clients, and contribute across the full SDLC while promoting learning and career growth in a collaborative Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Java development experience.
• Experience designing and building solutions in AWS.
• Full-stack development with JavaScript, React and TypeScript.
• Experience leading engineers or providing technical direction.
• Understanding of software architecture and design.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to translate customer challenges into practical technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of software engineers.
• Design, develop and test bespoke software solutions.
• Provide technical direction and communicate with clients.
• Produce solution architectures and technical designs.
