Job summary

Snyk is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer based in France to lead the technical side of the sales cycle for French-speaking enterprise and mid-market customers. Qualifications

• Native or bilingual-level French with professional English fluency.
• 5+ years in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or related technical customer-facing role in developer tools, application security, or DevOps.
• Experience with enterprise customers in the French market.
• Solid understanding of multiple programming languages, CI/CD and cloud-native practices.
• Track record of running technical demos and proofs of concept that move deals forward.
• Curiosity about new technologies and a habit of digging into how things work.
• Strong planning and communication skills to set milestones and align across teams.
• Fluent with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Gemini) and able to discuss security implications.
• Team-oriented with mentoring mindset.
• Nice to have: experience in application security or cybersecurity vendor.
• Nice to have: developer background or hands-on coding.
• Nice to have: experience with channel ecosystem or early-stage startups.
• Nice to have: familiarity with GDPR, NIS2, DORA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle for French-speaking prospects and customers, from discovery and demos through PoC and close.
• Deliver credible, tailored technical demos and workshops in French and English to developers, DevOps teams, security practitioners, and senior technical leaders.
• Own and manage proofs of concept end to end, setting clear success criteria and translating results into business value.
• Partner with Account Executives to build account strategy across the French market, including large enterprises in regulated industries.
• Advise customers on secure development practices, open source and cloud-native security, including data protection considerations.
• Work with channel partners and system integrators to broaden proficiency in selling and supporting Snyk.
• Bring French customer feedback to Product and Engineering, influencing roadmap decisions.
• Adapt and localize demos and content for the French market, sharing assets with the wider EMEA team.
• Mentor Solutions Engineers to improve demo quality and POC execution.
• Represent Snyk at customer meetings, local events, and conferences in France.
