Job summary

EY is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Developer to join our team, designing and implementing AI agents and automation tools across enterprise systems, with a focus on real-world impact. Location is flexible across UK offices.

The role spans full delivery lifecycle from requirements and design through development, testing and production, collaborating with cross-functional teams and applying the latest AI techniques to deliver robust, secure solutions within enterprise guardrails.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or a related field.
• Proven AI developer experience with a portfolio of projects.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript and version control (Git).
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures and software design principles.
• Experience with Pandas, NumPy and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with Power Platform and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

Responsibilities

• Help design and develop AI agents and automation tools to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Build and orchestrate LLM agents, including prompting and retrieval.
• Test and evaluate agent behaviour and handle uncertainty in outputs.
• Develop solutions across Power Platform (Power Apps/Automate/Dataverse) with lifecycle management.
• Integrate AI tools with enterprise systems via APIs (Graph/REST/SQL/SharePoint).
• Develop cloud-native skills on Azure and AWS and apply AI services.
• Deliver across full lifecycle from design through production and support live products.
