Job summary

EY is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Developer to join the team as a Senior Associate in the UK. You will design and build AI agents, automate processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.

The role focuses on creating and evaluating AI solutions, wiring Power Platform tools, and integrating with enterprise systems while ensuring governance and security. A strong portfolio and cloud knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, data science, AI, or related field.
• Proven experience as an AI developer or similar role with portfolio.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of Git and version control.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design.
• Experience with data manipulation tools like Pandas/NumPy/SQL.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and AI services.
• Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents and automation tools to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into specs.
• Build and orchestrate LLM agents, including prompts, grounding and retrieval.
• Test and evaluate agent behavior with uncertainty handling.
• Configure Power Platform solutions and manage lifecycle and environments.
• Integrate AI tools with enterprise systems via APIs (Graph, REST, SQL, SharePoint).
• Develop cloud-native skills on Azure and AWS and understand AI offerings.
• Contribute across full delivery lifecycle from design to production.
• Triage defects and support live products with real users.
• Comply with AI risk, security, data loss prevention, and licensing controls.
• Prepare data and evaluate AI solutions; stay updated on AI advances.
• Document code and processes; participate in code reviews.
