Job summary

EY is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Developer to join our team in the UK. You will design and implement AI agents and automation tools, delivering value across the business.

Work across Power Platform, Azure/AWS, and enterprise systems; collaborate with cross-functional teams and support live products. The role emphasizes a strong focus on AI, software engineering, and scalable solutions within EY’s governance framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, data science or AI or related field.
• Proven AI developer experience with portfolio.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, SQL.
• Experience with Power Platform preferred.
• Understanding of cloud computing and cloud platforms AI services.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents and automation tools to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Build and orchestrate LLM agents, including prompts, grounding and retrieval.
• Test and evaluate agent behaviour and uncertainty handling.
• Work with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse).
• Integrate AI tools with enterprise systems via APIs (Graph, REST, SQL, SharePoint).
• Develop cloud-native skills on Azure and AWS and their AI services.
• Support full delivery lifecycle from design to production.
• Triage defects in live products with real users.
• Adhere to AI risk, information security and data loss prevention guardrails.
• Perform data analysis to support AI development and evaluation.
