Job summary

EY is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Developer to design and implement AI agents and automation tools within a collaborative team environment across UK offices. You will build, test and deploy AI solutions that drive business transformation, working with Azure/AWS, Power Platform, and enterprise systems.

The role focuses on end-to-end delivery, including prompt design, data grounding, retrieval, and documenting processes for maintainability, while collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
• Proven experience as an AI developer or similar role with a portfolio of projects.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript; Git and version control experience.
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Experience with Pandas, NumPy, and SQL; familiarity with data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience or willingness to develop skills in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse).
• Understanding of cloud computing and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS; knowledge of cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents and automation tools to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Build and orchestrate LLM agents, including prompt design and retrieval outputs.
• Test agent behavior and handle uncertainty in outputs.
• Work with Power Platform components and manage environments and lifecycle.
• Integrate AI tools with enterprise systems via APIs (Graph, REST, SQL, SharePoint).
• Develop cloud-native skills on Azure and AWS and apply AI services.
• Support full delivery lifecycle from design to production.
