Job summary

Tech-People in London is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a Hard Services/m&e portfolio, driving operational and commercial performance.

You will report to the Head of FM and MD, lead Contracts Managers, Helpdesk and Technical Managers, and manage HVAC/building services engineers to deliver profitable outcomes and strong client relationships.

Commutable to London with a strategic focus on KPI-led delivery and budget control.

Qualifications

• Senior management experience in M&E FM or HVAC services.
• Experience leading managers and senior operations teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with budgets, margins and P&L.
• Excellent organizational, administrative and reporting skills.
• Willing to be commutable to London.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational and commercial performance of a service and maintenance portfolio.
• Manage Contracts, Helpdesk and Technical Operations.
• Maintain budgets, margins, and contract variations.
• Monitor KPIs and financial performance; take corrective actions.
• Ensure documentation and reports are completed on time.
• Support client relationships and profitability improvements.
