Job summary

Richardson Recruit is recruiting a permanent Contracts Manager for London to lead PPM and M&E maintenance across hard FM contracts. You will oversee engineering teams, subcontractors and client relationships to ensure safe, compliant and high‑quality service delivery.

The role focuses on operational ownership, SLA/KPI achievement, and budget management with a proactive, hands‑on leadership style.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Hard FM/Contracted services.
• Experience delivering M&E maintenance.
• Strong understanding of SLAs and KPIs.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take operational and commercial ownership of Hard FM contracts.
• Lead delivery of planned and reactive M&E maintenance.
• Ensure SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
• Manage Supervisors, Engineers and Contract Support.
• Plan annual maintenance programmes and ensure PPM is completed on time.
• Manage specialist M&E subcontractors and supply-chain partners.
• Utilise simPRO to manage and close maintenance activity.
• Produce and manage quotations for M&E works.
• Manage contract budgets with P&P accountability.
• Monitor performance, costs, risks and opportunities.
• Hold client meetings and produce monthly performance reports.
• Identify service improvements and growth opportunities.
• Support project works and planned power shutdowns.
• Ensure Health & Safety, RAMS and permit-to-work processes.
